I grew up going to the library and my dream was always to be a librarian. It's so sweet to live that dream! The "old school" aspects of libraries (books and reading) are as exciting to me as all of the new technologies (downloading audiobooks and eBooks, digitizing old photographs, blogs, etc.) that add even more to what libraries offer our users! I have learned so much in my years as a patron of and staff member at our library.
