Once again, The Genealogy Center will celebrate Family History Month in a big way! With a wide variety of offerings ranging from getting started in genealogy to putting your research into book form, there’s something exciting happening all 31 days of October. What types of sessions can you look forward to? Cemetery research & symbolism, state & regional research, census research, photograph analysis, brick wall research, and databases tips & tricks just to name a few! Click here for a full schedule of programs for the month.
Most sessions are free but the ACGSI Beginning Genealogy Seminar and Writing a Book Using Family Tree Maker & Microsoft Word Seminar do charge a fee. Space is limited for some sessions, so make sure that you call 260-421-1225 or email Genealogy@ACPL.info to register.
As a special bonus, The Genealogy Center is offering extended research hours on October 26, remaining open until midnight. Make sure to get your beauty sleep earlier in the week!
